Audition Dates: Sunday Jan 27, 2019 - 1:00pm, & Monday Jan 28, 2019 - 7:30pm

Callbacks: Tuesday January 29, 2019 - 7:30pm

Location: Surrey Little Theatre, 7027 184th St, Surrey

Production Dates: April 18 - May 11, 2019, and Fraser Valley Zone Festival the week of May 12th-18th (performance day not yet confirmed). If Sealed for Freshness wins the Zone Festival, you must also be available for Mainstage in Port Alberni July 5-13, 2019 (performance day to be determined). 

This is a non-equity production. No appointment is required to audition.

The Play: Sealed for Freshness is by Doug Stone and directed by Kayt Roth

Hostess Bonnie invites a group of neighbours over for a Tupperware party. The guest list: perky and rich Jean, her cranky and very pregnant sister Sinclair, ditzy-blonde Tracy Ann, and new neighbour Diane, who's made quite a career selling Tupperware. The mix of personalities and martinis consumed lead to absurd high jinks plus revelations of secrets and insecurities.  It is set in the US Midwest in 1968.



Bonnie Kapica - 45ish  She is a simple housewife slightly worn by years of domestication. 

Jean Pawlicki - 35   has a strong elegant presence in a small town way.  She is the pretty sister of Sinclair.  

Tracy Ann McClain – 25 is naïve, bubbly, and girl-next door pretty  

Sinclair Benevente  - 35 Brash, stocky, loud, been around-the-block/ extremely pregnant  

Diane Whettlaufer - 40ish  Plastic, upbeat sales woman type  

Richard Kapica - 45ish Husband of Bonnie.  Blue collar butch.
