Roles: 2 men, 3 women
DAVID KAHN - 40-50s. A Manhattan art dealer who loves living the good life. Married to Barbara. A bit of a letch.
BARBARA KAHN - 40-50s. A Manhattan art dealer who loves living the good life. Married to David. Can be an alarimst, but also a voice of reason.
TRUDY HEYMAN - 40-50s. Barbara's sister. A worrywart who's freaking out about her daughter's sexual escapades at college, and who is worn out from caring for her mother Sophie.
SOPHIE GREENGRASS - 60+. A demanding woman who stomps on her daughters' last nerves as they care for her. Then she meets Maurice.
MAURICE KOENIG - 98. A world-renowned artist who's a little hard of hearing, with a fondness for gifilte fish and Sophie.
The Play: Social Security, by Andrew Bergman, directed by Kayt Roth.
A comedic story about Barbara and David, a married couple who are art dealers. Their domestic tranquility is shattered with the arrival of Barbara's prim sister Trudy and her uptight husband Martin, who are trying to save their daughter from the horrors of college sex. Trudy and Martin unexpectedly drop off the ladies' mother, Sophie, an ornery woman who hits it off with artist Maurice, much to her daughters' dismay. Mild adult themes
